Privacy Notice
Wireless Context Learning; No Guaranteed Data Deletion. We may retain and use information derived from wireless capture files and analysis results to improve the Service and for wireless analysis and research purposes, including learning patterns and characteristics of wireless communication (“Derived Wireless Context”). Derived Wireless Context is used in aggregated or anonymized form where feasible and does not entitle you to any ownership or access to such Derived Wireless Context. Except for Derived Wireless Context and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy, we intend to discard uploaded capture files and analysis reports after a reasonable period.
Privacy Notice (Starter). We may collect and process (i) the 802.11 capture files you upload, (ii) analysis outputs derived from those files, and (iii) technical and usage information needed to operate the Service (such as device/browser type, approximate request timing, and error logs). We will discard uploaded capture files and analysis reports after a reasonable period, except that we may retain and use wireless analysis information learned from uploads and analysis results to improve the Service and for wireless analysis and research purposes. This retained information will be used in aggregated or anonymized form where feasible and does not grant you access to, or ownership of, such retained derived information. We may use service providers to host and operate the Service on our behalf.
Free Trial; Uploads. During the free trial period, you may upload single 802.11 capture files for analysis. We may limit file size, duration, and the number of trial uploads.
Results Access; Deletion. We will provide a link/URL to view analysis results for a period. Except for (a) information retained as described below under “Derived Wireless Context” and (b) technical and security logs necessary to operate and protect the Service, we will discard uploaded capture files and analysis results (including any downloadable report files) no later than **seven (7) days** after you submit the upload or such results are generated, whichever is later. You acknowledge that after deletion, you may no longer access, download, or retrieve uploaded files or analysis results.
Disclaimer of Warranties. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SECURE.
Limitation of liability
Limitation of Liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [COMPANY] WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY ANALYSIS RESULTS OR REPORTS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Paid Processing; Fees. After the trial period, analysis of uploads may require payment of fees. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
Accounts; Bulk Uploads. If you enable bulk uploads or account registration, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.
Access to Results. After you submit an upload, we will provide a link/URL through which you may view analysis results in our web browser (“Explorer”). You may also download analysis outputs in one or more file formats, such as CSV, JSON, text, or RTF (each, an “Output”). We may limit the availability of Outputs and the Explorer link.
No Guaranteed Retention. Except for Derived Wireless Context as described below and except as required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or technical operations, we will discard uploaded capture files and discard analysis outputs (including any downloadable Outputs) no later than seven (7) days after you upload the file or after the relevant outputs are generated, whichever occurs later. After that period, you may no longer access the Explorer link or retrieve Outputs.
Optional Anonymization. The Service may include optional anonymization features that mask or transform selected fields extracted from uploaded capture files (including, initially, selected fields from management frames) to reduce the likelihood of identifying or attributing wireless information to specific parties.
No Guarantee of Anonymity. Even with anonymization enabled, you acknowledge that no anonymization method is guaranteed to prevent re-identification or misuse. You are solely responsible for determining whether the outputs meet your intended legal, regulatory, or security requirements.
Upload and Options. When you upload a capture file, you may select options in a form that determine the analysis parameters and the types of outputs the Service may generate (including browser-based Explorer views and downloadable Outputs).
Explorer Link and Outputs. The Service will generate (at minimum) a browser Explorer view and provide a report URL for that run. Depending on your selected options, we may also generate downloadable Outputs in formats such as CSV, JSON, text, and/or RTF. You may be required to sign up (including providing an email address) to receive and access the report URL for a run.
No Unauthorized Access. You agree not to share report URLs, outputs, or Explorer access with unauthorized third parties.
Deletion of Uploads and Outputs. Except for Derived Wireless Context as described below and except as required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or technical operations, we will discard uploaded capture files and delete/discontinue availability of generated analysis outputs (including downloadable Outputs) no later than **seven (7) days** after the upload for the run, or after outputs are generated, whichever occurs later.
Explorer Availability; No Guaranteed Retrieval. You acknowledge that after the deletion window, you may no longer access the Explorer link or download the Outputs for that run.
Report URL; Access Control. After you submit an upload, we will provide a report URL that allows you to view the Explorer results for that run and, where applicable, download selected Outputs. The report URL may include a unique, access token and may be time-limited, revoked, or otherwise restricted at our discretion.
No Sharing. You agree not to share report URLs or Outputs with unauthorized third parties. You acknowledge that if a report URL is accessible without authentication, anyone who obtains the URL may be able to access the associated results until the URL expires or is revoked.
Deletion of Results. Except as described for Derived Wireless Context and as required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or technical operations, we will discard uploaded capture files and delete/discontinue availability of analysis outputs for that run no later than seven (7) days after upload (or such later time as outputs are generated). After that time, the report URL may no longer function and Outputs may no longer be available for download.
Capture data; processing. When you upload an 802.11 capture file, we process it to perform the requested analysis. You control what file you upload and what options you select.
Retention and deletion. Except as described below, we will discard the uploaded capture file and delete/discontinue the analysis outputs for that run no later than seven (7) days after upload (or after outputs are generated, whichever is later). The report URL and any downloadable Outputs are intended to be available only during this period.
Derived Wireless Context. We may retain and use information derived from uploaded capture files and analysis results to improve the Service and for wireless analysis and research purposes, including learning patterns and characteristics of wireless communication (“Derived Wireless Context”). Derived Wireless Context will be used in aggregated or anonymized form where feasible and does not entitle you to access or ownership of such Derived Wireless Context.
Optional anonymization. The Service may include optional anonymization features that mask or transform selected extracted fields (including, initially, selected management-frame fields). Even with anonymization enabled, we do not guarantee anonymity or prevent re-identification.
Security and access. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect uploaded files and analysis outputs. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Links/URL sharing. Where results are accessible via a report URL, anyone who obtains that URL may be able to access results until the URL expires or is revoked. You are responsible for not sharing report URLs or downloaded outputs with unauthorized parties.
Sharing and learning; optional anonymization. The Service may provide optional anonymization features designed to reduce identifiability of selected fields extracted from uploaded capture files (including, initially, selected management-frame fields) so that analysis outputs can be shared more broadly and used for learning and improvement purposes. Even with anonymization enabled, you acknowledge that anonymity and non-identification cannot be guaranteed, and you are responsible for determining whether outputs meet your intended sharing or compliance requirements.
Pattern extraction (focus); discard of raw identifying data. The Service may analyze uploaded 802.11 capture files to extract features and patterns from management-frame fields. To the extent permitted by your selected options, the Service will discard or avoid retaining the raw field values and may retain only derived, transformed, or anonymized representations of selected extracted fields that are intended to support pattern analysis and learning. We do not provide functionality intended to decrypt encrypted content or recover plaintext of protected communication from the capture.
Optional anonymization for shareability. The Service may include optional anonymization features designed to reduce identifiability of extracted fields so that analysis outputs can be shared and used for learning and improvement purposes.
No guarantee. Even when anonymization is enabled, you acknowledge that no anonymization method can guarantee that outputs will be anonymous or free from re-identification risk.
Wireless identifiers; pattern-oriented use. The Service may extract MAC addresses and other information from management frames in uploaded 802.11 capture files and use them to derive features and patterns about the wireless environment (e.g., network/device behavior characteristics). We may transform, tokenize, hash, mask, or otherwise anonymize extracted identifiers in the resulting analysis outputs to reduce identifiability while preserving pattern usefulness.
Optional anonymization; non-guarantee. You may enable optional anonymization features for selected extracted fields. Even with anonymization enabled, we do not guarantee that outputs are anonymous or that re-identification is impossible.
No guarantee. Even with anonymization enabled, the Service does not guarantee that outputs will be anonymous, non-identifying, or free from re-identification risk.
MAC-derived information; optional anonymization. The Service may extract MAC addresses and other identifiers from management frames in uploaded 802.11 capture files and use that information to derive features and patterns about the wireless environment. You may select an “Anonymize” option for a run, which may transform, mask, tokenizes, hash, or otherwise de-identify selected extracted fields in the analysis outputs (including the Explorer view and downloadable Outputs). Enabling anonymization is your responsibility, and you are solely responsible for deciding whether the anonymization settings are sufficient for your intended sharing, compliance, or security needs.
No decryption intent. The Service is not intended to decrypt protected wireless communications.
Sensitive fields; optional anonymization. The Service may analyze sensitive wireless metadata present in uploaded 802.11 capture files, including MAC addresses and other identifiers from management frames, as well as SSIDs and similar information. You may select an “Anonymize” option for a run; when enabled, we may transform, tokenize, hash, mask, or otherwise de-identify selected extracted fields in the analysis outputs (including the Explorer view and downloadable Outputs) to support sharing and learning. Enabling anonymization is your responsibility, and we do not guarantee that outputs will be anonymous or non-identifying.
